Our teaching team comprises of our head teacher, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), classroom teachers and classroom assistants.

Most of our early years practitioners are trained and experienced in Early Years Education and in Montessori teaching. The staff have also had training in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Learning is a continuous, life-long process and we therefore invest significantly in the development of our staff and believe in promoting from within.

Our school SENCO has been trained in early identification and intervention for children with special educational needs and shall be liaising and working with parents and practitioners to ensure SEN children receive the additional support they require.

Transitioning into a nursery environment is a special yet emotionally challenging time for children and parents. Our team of experienced and caring staff are there to support our families through this settling in period. The staff will ensure a smooth transition by getting to know each child better (their likes/dislikes and their current routines) before they start at nursery.
